Glass ornament features a hand-painted design based on original pottery sherd designs from Hovenweep National Monument. Beginning around 700 A.D. Ancestral Puebloan people began producing elaborate black-on-white pottery. Mesa Verde black-on-white pottery is the most prevalent type in the Hovenweep collection of over 10,000 sherds.
